Getting started

How does the IQ assessment work?

The assessment has 30 questions: 12 matrix patterns, 6 spatial transformations, 5 rules and operations, 4 numerical reasoning and 3 visual-completion tasks. Formats include paper folding, piece assembly, sequences and symbol equations. Each question has six options and one correct answer. There is no time limit; you can review answers before finishing. Open to ages 13 and over; purchases are for adults 18+.

Do I need an account before I start?

You can start as a guest. To save your result, sign in with Google or register with your email. Email registration requires verification before you choose a password. Use Forgot your password on the sign-in page to reset it.

Can I take another test or repeat a set?

IQ tests are free with unlimited attempts. The same four question sets repeat; only first-time results are eligible for public ranking.

Results & reports

Are IQ reports and certificates free?

All IQ tests, results, analyses and certificates are free. You can retake the same four existing question sets as often as you wish. Repeated scores do not qualify for the public leaderboard.

What does my result mean?

Your IQ score is a provisional estimate, not an independently normed test or clinical diagnosis. Your full report and certificate are free.

Which of my results appears on the leaderboard?

Eligible unlocked 30-question results enter the leaderboard after publication preferences are recorded. Each person appears once with their highest eligible estimated score; a shorter completion time breaks ties. Time is not displayed. A lower new result does not replace your best one.

Account & support

How do I change my name or photo?

Open Account and choose Edit profile. You can change your display name and upload a JPEG, PNG or WebP image up to 2 MB. Your Google account name is not changed. A saved profile photo can also be removed.

Can I control my public name and cookies?

Your saved display name appears in full on the leaderboard. Choose a nickname in account settings if you prefer. Without a chosen public name or earlier name permission, we show Participant. Profile photos require the optional permission above.

What should I do if a page or sign-in fails?

Refresh the page and check your connection. For account access, sign in with the same account used for your tests. If the issue continues, send the page URL and any Application error or Digest code through Contact. Avoid clearing browser data during an unfinished guest test, as it can remove access to that attempt. Leaving this page or switching away for 60 seconds resets an unfinished test. Return within 60 seconds to continue. Select an answer, then use Next to proceed.
